Log: 3 weeks primary at 52F, 3 days d-rest, 3 weeks secondary at 46F. Tapped on July 4th.
Carbonation: medium carbonation
Tasting: Good pilsy/grainy malt in aroma and flavor but not overdone. Finishes just to the sweet side but bitterness is there enough to keep in check. Noble hop flavor is medium-low and aroma is low. Detected subtle hint of diacetyl - will need to allow more/sooner d-rest next time.

Compared to Weihenstephaner Helles (since all I had): has a bigger malt backbone and not as winey; color is deeper gold (as should be); similar mouthfeel, carbonation, and body. All in all, a very nice summer quencher keeping the wife very happy.
