Mother's Little Helper IPA

My wife loves IPA, and she needed something after giving birth to our second child.

Beer: Mother's Little Helper IPA Style: India Pale Ale
Type: Partial mash Size: 5 gallons
Color:
13 HCU (~9 SRM)
Bitterness: 61 IBU
OG: 1.059 FG: 1.020
Alcohol: 5.1% v/v (4.0% w/w)
Grain: 4 oz. American crystal 60L
1 oz. American crystal 120L
8 oz. American 6-row
2 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Mash: 80% efficiency
Mashed at 155° for 45 min in 3 qt water. Sparged with 6qts at 160°
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.051 5.75 gallons
6 lb. Light dry malt extract
Boiled 2.5 gals added 6# Light DME and used Dextrin powder at 2oz.
Added first round of hops (Chinook/Nugget) and added 2.25 gals sparge water. 10 min back to rolling boil.
Hops: .5 oz. Nugget (12% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 10 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 10 min.)
Yeast: Wyeast 1098 Brit Ale pitched at 70°
Log: Brew date 4/5/09
OG post boil: 1.059
Primary fermentation 14 days then moved to secondary.
Bottle date: 5/22
Carbonation: Used 3oz Dextrose at bottling.
Tasting: Nice dark amber color with a nice nose of HOPS! Good head with nice retention and carbonation. Nice hop flavor and not over powering, with a very slight sweet finish. Not sure where that came from. Great drinking beer and the wife was very please to have the whole batch to herself.
