b's first lager

we finally got a fridge that can hold 4 carboys so we hooked up a fermtemp unit and we are off with our first lager.

Bitterness: 10 IBU
OG: 1.057 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 6.0% v/v (4.7% w/w)
Water: carbon filtered tap water
Grain: 17 lb. American 2-row
4 lb. Flaked corn
Mash: 79% efficiency
single infusion mash at 152 for 2 hours. sparge with 170.
Boil: 120 minutes SG 1.052 12 gallons
irish moss in the last 20 minutes
Hops: .5 oz. Willamette (4.4% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Saaz (2.6% AA, 45 min.)
1 oz. Saaz (2.6% AA, 30 min.)
Yeast: WLP 840, american lager. used a starter made on 5/15/09
Log: ferment between 55 and 60. brewed on 5/17/09. Bottled on 7/15/09
Carbonation: Bottle carbonated with 3/4 cup priming sugar
