Bitterness: 23 IBU
OG: 1.053 FG: 1.015
Alcohol: 4.9% v/v (3.9% w/w)
Water: tap water
Grain: 8 oz. American crystal 40L
6 oz. British crystal 70-80L
8 oz. Biscuit Malt
Steep: in 2 gallons water steep grains until water reaches 170 degrees when water boils stir in extract then reboil wort
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.146 2.0 gallons
6 lb. 6 oz. Light malt extract
1 lb. 0 oz. Light dry malt extract
irish moss at 15 minutes
Hops: 1 oz. Columbus (15% AA, 60 min.)
1.5 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 10 min.)
1.5 oz. Kent Goldings (aroma)
Yeast: can use Wyeast 1028 or White Labs WLP 013
Log: dry hop .5 oz Goldings hops in secondary fermenter
1 week primary 1 week secondary fermentation and carbonate 2-3 weeks
