Orange Wheat

A quick Extract Wheat with some Navel Orange (missed the Blood Orange season!)

Bitterness: 15 IBU
OG: 1.047 FG: 1.009
Alcohol: 4.9% v/v (3.9% w/w)
Water: Filtered
Boil: 45 minutes SG 1.047 3.125 gallons
4 lb. Wheat extract LME 60%
Added 1.2oz zest at 10 min, 1.2oz of zest at flameout.
Added 3/4 quart orange chunks steeped with 160F water.
Hops: .375 oz. Glacier (6% AA, 45 min.)
.125 oz. Sterling (8.7% AA, 10 min.)
.125 oz. Sterling (aroma)
Yeast: Dry Munich Wheat - rehydrated
Log: Filter orange zest and chunks with hop bag during transfer into bottling bucket.
Carbonation: 3.2 volumes Corn Sugar: 3.58 oz. for 2.75 gallons @ 75°F
3.0 vol
Tasting: We'll see, the Blood orange wheat was great, let's see if Navels add enough!
