The all grain version of McKinney Bros.-Itchy Juevos, with a few changes! This Vienna is very refreshing and a true session beer! Why isn't this style more popular? Mucho flavor!

15 lb. German Vienna
2 lb. 8 oz. German Munich
1 lb. American crystal 60L
1 lb. Melanoidin Malt
Mash: 68% efficiency
Mash in @ 149 for 60 minutes Sparge at 170
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.046 11.5 gallons
Irish moss at 15 min. to go in the boil
Hops: 2.5 oz. Hallertauer Hersbrucker (5% AA, 60 min.)
.25 oz. Hallertauer Hersbrucker (5% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Hallertauer Hersbrucker (5% AA, 1 min.)
Yeast: * WLP940 Mexican Lager Yeast
PLATINUM STRAIN – March/April
From Mexico City, this yeast produces clean lager beer, with a crisp finish. Good for Mexican style light lagers, as well as dark lagers.
Attenuation: 70-78%
Flocculation: Medium
Optimum Fermentation Temperature: 50-55°F
Alcohol Tolerance: Medium
