Sunday Porter

Type: Extract w/grain Size: 3 gallons

69 HCU (~27 SRM)
Bitterness: 33 IBU
OG: 1.055 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 5.5% v/v (4.3% w/w)
Water: New Mexico Tap Water
Grain: .68 lb. German Munich
.57 lb. British crystal 70-80L
3.36 oz. American chocolate
2 oz. American black patent
Steep: Grains steeped in cheese cloth for 60 minutes at 150 degrees.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.055 3 gallons
3.87 lb. Light malt extract
Irish Moss added for last 15 minutes.
Hops: .5 oz. Liberty (4% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Perle (8% AA, 45 min.)
.2 oz. Liberty (4% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Liquid Yeast - Irish Ale
Carbonation: Bottled with the standard amount of corn sugar on Feb 07, 2009.
Tasting: Tasted the first one on Feb 21, 2009. Two weeks in the bottle about an hour and a half in the 'fridge, poured into a frosty glass - Delicious - full body and very smooth!! Smooth and easy, like a Sunday.
