Water: Good Ole Salem Va. Tap Water!!
Grain: 1 lb. American 2-row
.5 lb. American crystal 20L
Steep: Steep Grains @ 145° for 40 min.
Boil: 60 min. minutes SG 1.104 2.5 gallons
3 lb. Light malt extract
3 lb. Honey
Add 1 tsp. of Irish Moss with 15 min. left in the boil.
Hops: .5 oz. Amarillo (8.6% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 45 min.)
.5 oz. Amarillo (8.6% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: WLP001 California Ale
Log: Primary fermentation for 5 to 7 days. Rack to secondary and dry hop with 1 oz. of Amarillo pellets for 1 week. Bottle for 3 weeks and enjoy
Carbonation: Muntons KreamyX priming sugar or 4 oz corn sugar.
