Glacier IPA

Actual OG was 1.067 after top up H2O. Boil yielded roughly 4 gal wort @ 1.088.

Alcohol: 8.6% v/v (6.8% w/w)
Grain: 4 lb. American 2-row
1 lb. American victory
1 lb. American crystal 10L
1 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Mash: 69% efficiency
60 minute mash @ 152°F - 158°F (uninsulated kettle on stove), strike temp 165°F. Added 1/2 tsp Calcium Carbonate.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.066 6 gallons
6 lb. Light malt extract
1 tsp Irsh Moss @ 15 minutes.
Hops: 3 oz. glacier (6% AA, 60 min.)
2 oz. glacier (6% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. glacier (6% AA, 10 min.)
Yeast: I made approx. 1 gallon starter using WL001 + 1# Lt. DME...pitched just under 1/2 for this batch (other half used in a porter)
