2 lb. American Munich
8 oz. Melanoidin Malt
4 oz. Carafa II
2 lb. Rice (raw)
Mash: 70% efficiency
Single infusion 1.5 qts/Lb @ 152*F for 60 to 90 minutes or until it passes Iodine test. Pull 10qts of mash at least 60% grain to a separate pot. Slowly bring to a boil stirring regularly to prevent scorching. boil for 30 min and add to mash to bring it up to 170 for mash out. Batch Sparge to make 8 gallons wort.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.044 8 gallons
Irish Moss @ 15 min.
Hops: .2 oz. Galena (13% AA, 60 min.)
.2 oz. Nugget (12% AA, 45 min.)
.2 oz. Nugget (12% AA, 20 min.)
.2 oz. Galena (13% AA, 10 min.)
Yeast: Safale S-23
Carbonation: 2.6 volumes Corn Sugar: 4.87 oz. for 6.0 gallons @ 55°F
