Kt's Kolsch

An end-of-the-summer lawnmower beer. It ended up a bit darker in color as I used the Belgian Aromatic carapils, and ended up doing a mini-mash with the specialty grains.

Grain: 1 lb. German Vienna
8 oz. American crystal 10L
4 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Steep: Grains brought to 130 x 20min, 153 x 60 min, 164 x 60 min. Sparged with 4c microwaved water
Boil: minutes SG 1.048 5 gallons
4 lb. Light dry malt extract
1 lb. Wheat extract
Hops: .5 oz. Hallertauer (8.5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Saaz (4.0% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Hallertauer (8.5% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Hallertauer (aroma)
Yeast: Safbrew t-33
Log: OG measured 1.048. Started at 75 deg in a 73 deg chiller
