Garcia's Grateful Ale

Should be a light bodied, easy drinkin, slightly hoppy golden ale for the hot summer months.

Bitterness: 62 IBU
OG: 1.044 FG: 1.008
Alcohol: 4.7% v/v (3.7% w/w)
Water: Spring water
Grain: .5 lb. American crystal 10L
.5 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
Steep: Steeped grains @ 163° for 45 mins in almost 1 gallon and sparged with .5 gallons of 160° water.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.040 5.5 gallons
3 lb. Pale malt extract
2 lb. Extra Light dry malt extract
Irish Moss @ 15mins.
Hops: 1 oz. Perle (9.3% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (7.3% AA, 45 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (7.3% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Saaz (3.5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Used Safeale05. Rehydraded
Log: Primary for 10 days @ 70° - 72°
Secondary for 10 days @ 70° - 72°
Carbonation: 2.5 volumes Keg: 11.2 psi @ 38°F
