Tasting: This beer pours as a nice orangish amber, reminiscent of a dark thick honey, with a fluffy white head that diminishes to a surface covering that persists while drinking. The carbonation is active and clearly visible. There is also a light haze that one would expect since we did not filter the brew. The nose is very crisp and clean for an ale, although hints of light fruits and caramels are present. Upon drinking this brew one is struck by the crisp taste that one typically associates with lagers, but the malt backbone is still strong and noticeable. Some mild citrus and resinous qualities are also detectable. A nice drinkable brew, that has you craving more after every sip.
