This is our second batch of this German Pilsener; the first won three awards at the San Diego County Fair Homebrew contest. The changes we made to the first recipe include using more Saaz hops and substituting 3lbs of German Pilsener grains for 1lb of light DME.

3 lb. Light dry malt extract
Hops: 1 oz. Hallertauer (4% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Saaz (3.8% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Saaz (3.8% AA, 45 min.)
.5 oz. Saaz (3.8% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Hallertauer (aroma)
Yeast: WLP830 German Lager
