Bitterness: 48 IBU
OG: 1.066 FG: 1.015
Alcohol: 6.5% v/v (5.1% w/w)
Water: Providence RI tap water. Untreated
Grain: 1 lb. British crystal 50-60L
Steep: Add 1 pound 60L Crystal to cold water, bring to 160° and steep for 30 minutes.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.110 3 gallons
6 lb. Munton's Extra Light dry malt extract
1 lb. Munton's Amber dry malt extract
Add 6 pounds Extra Light DME at start of boil.
Add 1 pound Amber DME as a late addition at 30 minutes.
Hops: 1 oz. Centennial (9.1% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Centennial (9.1% AA, 45 min.)
1 oz. Amarillo (8% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Amarillo (aroma)
Yeast: Safale US-05 w/out hysdration.
