Water: Good Ole Salem Va. tap water!!
Grain: 1 lb. American 2-row
.5 lb. American crystal 20L
Steep: Steep Grains @ 145* for 40 min.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.104 2.5 gallons
3 lb. Light malt extract
3 lb. Honey
.5 lb. Light Brown Sugar
Add 1 tsp. Irish moss with 15 min. left in the boil.
Hops: .5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 45 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: White Labs WLP060 American Ale
Log: Primary Fermentation of 5 to 7 days and bottle condition 4 to 5 weeks.
Carbonation: Muntons Kreamyx Priming Sugar
