3 lb. 8 oz. British pale
8 oz. British brown
1 lb. 8 oz. American 6-row
Mash: 80% efficiency
Single mash infusion, mash in @ 158°F & rest for 60 mins. Mash out 170°F for 10 mins. Sparge @ 165° until sparge water used up, ~35-40 mins.
Boil: 100 minutes SG 1.043 6.5 gallons
Hops: 1 oz. Galena (13% AA, 60 min.)
.25 oz. Centennial (10.5% AA, 45 min.)
.25 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 45 min.)
.25 oz. Eroica (12% AA, 45 min.)
1 oz. Brewers Gold (8.5% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Centennial (aroma)
1 oz. Mt. Hood (aroma)
1 oz. Willamette (aroma)
Yeast: Thames Valley (Wyeast 1275)--produces a little more balanced flavor profile
