Alcohol: 7.5% v/v (5.9% w/w)
Water: Brita filtered tap water
Grain: 4 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
2 oz. British chocolate
2 oz. British black patent
2 oz. Raw barley
2 oz. Roasted barley
Steep: Steeped grains 30 minutes at 155°

Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.075 3 gallons
1 lb. 8 oz. Honey
3 lb. 5 oz. Dark malt extract
10 oz. Light dry malt extract
added honey with 10 minutes remaining in boil
Hops: 1 oz. Hallertauer Mittelfruh (5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (aroma)
Yeast: Munton's dry ale yeast, made starter two days prior using Munton's DME. Had good fermentation after six hours.
Carbonation: 2.1 volumes Corn Sugar: 2.08 oz. for 3.25 gallons @ 65°F
