OG: 1.073 FG: 1.018
Alcohol: 7.0% v/v (5.5% w/w)
Water: No water treatment. Water was purchased from the water machune at the local grocery store
Grain: 1 lb. 8 oz. American Victory
1 lb. 8 oz. Belgian aromatic
Steep: Steeped for 30 mins
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.056 13 gallons
16 lb. 0 oz. Marris Otter LME
2 lb. 8 oz. Corn sugar
2 tsp of Yeast Nutrient at 20 mins
2 tsp of Irish Moss at 15 mins
Hops: 1 oz. Simcoe (13.6% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Warrior (16.3% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Amarillo (7.1% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Simcoe (13.6% AA, 20 min.)
.5 oz. Warrior (16.3% AA, 20 min.)
1 oz. Amarillo (aroma)
Yeast: White Labs English Ale Yeast WLP005. 900ml starter was made from 1000ml tap water, 1 cup DME and a pinch of yeast nutrient. (slight starter boil over)
