I'm going to savor this one under a tree and hopefully I'll wake up and the hop crisis will be over! IPA's will be fewer and farther between so make em' count! Bitter IS better!

2 lb. American crystal 20L
1 lb. Flaked barley
Mash: 68% efficiency
Mash in at 150 for 60 minutes sparge at 170
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.061 12 gallons
1 lb. Corn sugar
irish Moss at 15 min. to go in the boil
Hops: 2.0 oz. Chinook (12.5% AA, 60 min.)
1.25 oz. Centennial (10.5% AA, 40 min.)
1.0 oz. Centennial (10.5% AA, 20 min.)
.75 oz. Centennial (10.5% AA, 2 min.)
1.0 oz. Chinook (12.5% AA, 2 min.)
1.0 oz. Columbus (15.5% AA, 2 min.)
1.0 oz. Centennial (aroma)

Yeast: * WLP085 English Ale Blend
PLATINUM STRAIN – Jan./Feb.
A blend of British ale yeast strains, designed to add complexity to your ale. Moderate fruitiness and mineral-like, with little to no sulfur. Drier than WLP002 and WLP005, but with similar flocculation properties. Good yeast blend for English Pale Ale, Bitter, Porter, Stout, and India Pale Ale.
Attenuation: 69-76%
Flocculation: Medium High
Optimum Fermentation Temperature: 68-72°F
