Bitterness: 6 IBU
OG: 1.073 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 7.8% v/v (6.1% w/w)
Grain: 1 lb. British Pilsner or american
1 lb. American crystal 10L or any 10L
Steep: take two pots fill one with 1.5 gallons water heat one with 1 gallon water heat 1.5 gallons of water to 150 to 155. heat 1 gallon of water to 170.when the 1.5 gallons of water reaches 150 to 155 steep grains for 20 minutes put in stainer pour 170 deg water over grain bag let set for 5 to 10 minutes in stainer DO NOT SQEEZE BAG AFTER THIS DICARD IT
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.145 2.5 gallons
1 lb. Rice extract
1 lb. Honey
7 lb. Light malt extract
heat grain steeped water to boil remove from heat add light malt extract and liberty hops return to boil at 45 minutes of boil remove from heat add honey and rice sugar at 55 minutes add saaz hops at 60 minutes remove from heat and cool to 75 to 80 deg. add the rest of the water to the 5 gal.mark on your bucket add yeast
Hops: 1 oz. Liberty (4% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Saaz (aroma)
Yeast: danstar nottingham or any other yeast thats not outdated
Log: after 7 to 10 days you can bottle it with 3/4 cup or 1 cup sugar or rerack it into a glass carbouy and let set for another 7 to 10 days this clears the beer some more. after bottled let set for 2 to three weeks for a good carbonated beer enjoy martan
