Alcohol: 7.0% v/v (5.5% w/w)
Water: Tap Water
Grain: 8 oz. Am. 2-row (Toast @ 350 for 10 Min)
8 oz. American victory
1 lb. 8 oz. American crystal 60L
Steep: Grains steeped in 2 gallons water at 150° F for 30 minutes. Sparged with 1/2 gallon water at 170° F.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.150 2.5 gallons
6 lb. 6 oz. Light malt extract
1 lb. Light dry malt extract
6 oz. Brown sugar
1 lb. Honey
Add extracts and brown sugar at beginning of boil. Add irish moss and honey for last 15 minutes of boil.
Hops: 1 oz. Northern Brewer (6.6% AA, 60 min.)
.25 oz. Columbus (13.7% AA, 45 min.)
.5 oz. Nugget (11.6% AA, 45 min.)
.25 oz. Yakima Magnum (13.1% AA, 45 min.)
.5 oz. Chinook (12.2% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Northern Brewer (6.6% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Chinook (12.2% AA, 15 min.)
.25 oz. Columbus (13.7% AA, 15 min.)
.25 oz. Yakima Magnum (13.1% AA, 15 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (aroma)
.5 oz. Nugget (aroma)
Yeast: Danstar Nottingham
Log: Brewed 11/13/07. Ferment at 70°F
