1 lb. Belgian CaraMunich
8 oz. Belgian Special B
Mash: 75% efficiency
155 Deg. F for 90 Min.
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.064 13 gallons
1 lb. 8 oz. Orange Honey (End Of Boil)
Last 10 min. of boil, added 3/4 oz. Sweet Orange Peel.
At Flameout added 1/2 oz. crushed Coriander.
Hops: 2 oz. Amarillo (9.6% AA, 90 min.)
.5 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 45 min.)
1 oz. Tettnanger (4.5% AA, 45 min.)
1 oz. Hallertauer (aroma)
.5 oz. Tettnanger (aroma)
Yeast: American Wheat Wyeast #1010 5 Gal.
German Wheat Wyeast #3333 5 Gal.
Log: Dry Hopped German Wheat Yeast with 1 oz. Tetnanger
Dry Hopped American Wheat Yeast with 1 oz. Hallertau
Tasting: Superbly complexed! The Orange and Coriander spicing is just right. The aroma from the head is a meal in itself. For 8% abv it is very smooth and perfectly balanced. This is a great Holiday brew.
