OG: 1.082 FG: 1.018
Alcohol: 8.3% v/v (6.5% w/w)
Water: Spring Water
Grain: 2 lb. German Munich
6 oz. American crystal 60L
8 oz. Flaked barley
Steep: Steep grains in 3 gallons of water at 160 for 30 minutes rinse grain bag with 1 gallon 170 water. Bring to boil back off and remove pot from flames add 10 pounds LME and return to boil. Add water to bring to 7 gallons.
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.059 7.0 gallons
10 lb. Light malt extract
Irish Moss @ 15 min. to go in the boil
Hops: 1.0 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 90 min.)
1.0 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 30 min.)
1.0 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 15 min.)
1.0 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 1 min.)
2.0 oz. Chinook (aroma)
Yeast: WLP023 Burton Ale Yeast
From the famous brewing town of Burton upon Trent, England, this yeast is packed with character. It provides delicious subtle fruity flavors like apple, clover honey and pear. Great for all English styles, IPA's, bitters, and pales. Excellent in porters and stouts.
Attenuation: 69-75%
Flocculation: Medium
Optimum Fermentation Temperature: 68-73°F
Alcohol Tolerance: Mediu

Carbonation: 1.7 volumes Keg: 7.5 psi @ 50°F
