Alcohol: 5.4% v/v (4.3% w/w)
Grain: .76 lb. American crystal 60L
.5 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
4 oz. American black patent
4 oz. Roasted barley
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.097 3 gallons
6.6 lb. Dark malt extract
.76 lb. Maple syrup
Hops: 1 oz. Northern Brewer (7% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Perle (6.9% AA, 45 min.)
.5 oz. Fuggles (4.2% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Tettnanger (2.7% AA, 15 min.)
Log: Char 6oz oak chips then boil in 1 pint of burbon. put the "burbon oak" chips in the secondary for 2 weeks.
Carbonation: 1.8 volumes
Bottle condition with 9 oz maple syrup.
