Nathan's Infamous

dry hop 1 oz. tettnanger hops during secondary in glass carboy

Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
16 HCU (~10 SRM)
Bitterness: 36 IBU
OG: 1.062 FG: 1.013
Alcohol: 6.3% v/v (5.0% w/w)
Grain: 8 oz. American victory
8 oz. American crystal 40L
Steep: Place 2 gallons of water in pot. Add all grains. Bring to 155F, remove grains, and run 4 cups of cold water through the grains while holding above the pot.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.155 2 gallons
8 lb. Light malt extract
Add irish moss 45 minutes into the boil
Hops: 1 oz. Chinook (12% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Galena (13% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Willamette (5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: British Ale Yeast 1056 (Liquid). Activated and created starter yeast 1 day before.
Log: brewed, transfered to secondary 1 week later, bottled 1 week later, bottle conditioned for 3 weeks.
Carbonation: corn sugar priming
