Bitch, Whine, Complain, Moan

IT'S THE BEER THAT'S BITTER FOR YOU.I got lucky straight out the box w/ this basic idea. Layer the malt & layer the hops. I followed a hopping algorhythm I found in a lot of hoppy recipes. Lots of hops bitterness at 60, a little bit at 30 & a medium amount at 15 to 1. It came out smooth & clean w/2 tsp. of irish moss.

Brewer: monastery x Email: Fuqer21@hotmail.com
Beer: Bitch, Whine, Complain, Moan Style: American Amber Ale
Type: Extract Size: 5 gallons
Color:
20 HCU (~12 SRM)
Bitterness: 23 IBU
OG: 1.052 FG: 1.006
Alcohol: 5.9% v/v (4.6% w/w)
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.173 1.5 gallons
3 lb. Light malt extract
3 lb. Amber malt extract
1 lb. Dark malt extract
2 tsp. irish moss. at 15.
Hops: 1 oz. warrior (16.9% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. saaz (3.7% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. cascade (5.8% AA, 3 min.)
Yeast: ale
Log: Rack to secondary for at least 24hrs-up to 2 two wks. It can sit a little in secondary because of the hop oils.
Tasting: Smooth, a little sweet w/lots of hoppiness . The warrior makes it nicely bitter & the saaz/cascade give a nice aroma and bouquet. The alcohol taste is nice but not overpowering. Good at 45 & 55 degrees; drink it cold in the heat & warm in the cold. Blessings to ya & good barley vinting motherfuckers.
