Baby Bitter

This is a baby batch (1 gallon) of strong India (not so) Pale Ale. I would rather call it an IBA (India Bitter Ale). Very easy to make, and a great brew for the summer.

21 HCU (~12 SRM)
Bitterness: 74 IBU
OG: 1.073 FG: 1.015
Alcohol: 7.5% v/v (5.9% w/w)
Water: Brita filtered Omaha tap water.
Grain: 3.2 oz. American crystal 10L
3.2 oz. American 2-row
Steep: Steep at 155F for 30 minutes.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.058 1.25 gallons
9.3 oz. Light dry malt extract
9.3 oz. Amber dry malt extract
6.4 oz. Corn sugar
Pinch of Irish Moss at 20 Minutes.
Hops: 0.4 oz. Northern Brewer (6.4% AA, 60 min.)
0.2 oz. Northern Brewer (6.4% AA, 30 min.)
0.2 oz. Northern Brewer (6.4% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: Cooper's Ale Yeast
