Fir Bolg (belly men)

a fairly bombastic mixture. all of the ingredients come from northern brewer.

Alcohol: 5.6% v/v (4.4% w/w)
Grain: 7 lb. American 6-row
4 oz. American victory
1 lb. Irish stout malt
4 oz. American crystal 20L
4 oz. American chocolate
4 oz. American black patent
1 lb. Rolled oats
Mash: 80% efficiency
strike at 150° hold for 45 min. increase temp to 165° hold for an additional 45 min. i use a lauter and cycle the mash every 10 min.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.061 4.5 gallons
Irish moss in last 15.
Hops: 1 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 45 min.)
.5 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. pacific jem (14.2% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: muntons dry yeast. started 1 day before.
Carbonation: 2.0 volumes Corn Sugar: 2.94 oz. for 5 gallons @ 65°F
