6 oz. British amber
Mash: 84% efficiency
60 minutes @ 151F
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.048 6.5 gallons
3.7 oz. Cane sugar
Hops: 1 oz. Kent Goldings (7.2% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 1 min.)
Yeast: S05
No starter
Carbonation: Used 3.7 oz cane sugar in 5.5 gal to achieve 2.2 vol potential carbonation.
Tasting: At bottling, tasted sweet. Smell was muted but also sweet, slightly roasty.
Would have bottled sooner. Newborn plus sick toddler.
