Alcohol: 5.3% v/v (4.1% w/w)
Water: All water is RO
Grain: 19 lb. Briess 2-row Pale
.5 lb. Briess White Wheat malt
2.5 lb. Castle Chateau Belgian Munich Light
.5 lb. Great Western crystal 40L
1 lb. Weyermann Melanoidin malt
Mash: 77% efficiency
Mashed in w/ 162°F hot liquor to rest at 152°F for 1 hour. Check sacrification w/iodine. Mash out w/ 175°F hot liquor to collect 14 gal.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.048 14 gallons
Hops: 2 oz. Northern Brewer (whole) (9.9% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (whole) (7.7% AA, 45 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (whole) (8.9% AA, 45 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (whole) (7.7% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Cascade (whole) (7.7% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: 1000 ml. starter of Wyeast 1056 American Ale yeast. Had good fermentation in 4 hours.
Log: Fermenting at 66°F on water bath until it reaches 1.015 FG.
Carbonation: 2.6 volumes Keg: 29.2 psi @ 68°F
Carbonate in corney keg.
