Type: All grain Size: 5.5 gallons
Color:
5 HCU (~4 SRM)
Bitterness: 16 IBU
OG: 1.053 FG: 1.010
Alcohol: 5.6% v/v (4.4% w/w)
Water: Tapwater with 1 Tbs 5.2 mash stabilizer.
Grain: 4 lb. German Pilsner
8 oz. Gambrinus Honey Malt
5 lb. Raw wheat
4 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
1 lb. Rice Hulls
Mash: 75% efficiency
Single infusion mash for 60 min at 153°F. Decoction to 160F° mashout. Continuous sparge with 170°F water to collect 7.5 gal in brewpot.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.039 7.5 gallons
12 oz. Honey
Add honey at flameout.
Hops: .75 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 60 min.)
.25 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 5 min.)
Yeast: WLP380
Log: 10 days at 65°F.
Carbonation: 3.0 volumes Keg: 21.3 psi @ 46°F
Keg and force carbonate
