Why the OG was so high, I do not know. Might have been a false reading due to hop particles in suspension. Taste testing will tell.

.5 oz. Simcoe (13% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Simcoe (13% AA, 5 min.)
1 oz. Chinook (aroma)
Yeast: S-05

Efficiency was much higher than anticipated. Wanted 80% and got 99%. No bittering hops.
4/30/13 Added 1.5 oz Chinook hops to fermenter. Gravity now down to 1.014. The taste was better three days ago.
