Type: All grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
10 HCU (~7 SRM)
Bitterness: 29 IBU
OG: 1.059 FG: 1.020
Alcohol: 5.1% v/v (4.0% w/w)
Water: 5 Gallons of Distilled Water from Arrowhead. Topped of fermentor with tap water.
Boil: 65 minutes SG 1.099 3 gallons
8 lb. Light malt extract
Used irish most for the final 5 minutes.
Hops: 2 oz. Hallertauer (4.25% AA, 60 min.)
2 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 10 min.)
2 oz. Cascade (aroma)
Yeast: California Yeast V Ale - White Labs WLB 051
Log: 30 November 2012 brewed at 68°F air temperature. Fermented at 60°F. Single stage fermentation and bottled at 68°F on 12 December 2012.
Carbonation: Used 4 oz of cane sugar for priming.
Tasting: Crisp clean taste with IPA bitterness. Gold in color and best served in a 16oz pilsner glass.
