21 HCU (~12 SRM)
Bitterness: 35 IBU
OG: 1.058 FG: 1.015
Alcohol: 5.5% v/v (4.3% w/w)
Water: Spring Water
Grain: 5 lb. British pale
8 oz. Dextrine malt (Cara-Pils)
12 oz. British crystal 50-60L
6 oz. British crystal 70-80L
Mash: 50% efficiency
Mash @ 155° for 1 hour. Sparge with 170° water.
Boil: 75 minutes SG 1.048 6.25 gallons
4 lb. Light dry malt extract
Irish Moss (Whirlfloc) at 15 - 20 minutes left in boil.
Hops: 1 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 60 min.)
1 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 30 min.)
1 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 5 min.)
1 oz. Kent Goldings (aroma)
Yeast: English Ale Yeast. Not sure whether I'm going with liquid or dry yet.
Carbonation: I plan to bottle condition with 5 oz. Corn Sugar
