My first recipe. Me thinks I did well.

18 HCU (~11 SRM)
Bitterness: 53 IBU
OG: 1.056 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 5.7% v/v (4.5% w/w)
Water: Good ole' Indiana well water
Grain: 9 lb. American 2-row
8 oz. British Munich
12 oz. Biscuit Malt
8 oz. American victory
8 oz. American crystal 120L
Mash: 75% efficiency
Single infusion at 154°F
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.048 6.5 gallons
1 tsp Irish moss at 15 min
Hops: 1.0 oz. Cascade (6% AA, 60 min.)
1.0 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 45 min.)
1.0 oz. Kent Goldings (5% AA, 45 min.)
1.0 oz. Challenger (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast 1275 Thames valley ale
Log: Primary for one week. Secondary for two weeks. Both 68-70 degrees F.
Carbonation: 4oz corn sugar for two weeks
Tasting: Mmmmm well balanced, malty and just the right amount of hops.
