Mash: 75% efficiency
Mashed on stove top 2 hours 145F- 151F. mashed out after 2 hours at 172F then sparged with 2 gal water at 165F.
Boil: 75 minutes SG 1.108 3.5 gallons
5. lb. Light dry malt extract
Added 1/2 teaspoon irish moss in final 20 minute of boil.
Hops: 4.00 oz. german Saphir (3.8% AA, 75 min.)
1.00 oz. Hallertauer (7.4% AA, 65 min.)
0.50 oz. Hallertauer (7.4% AA, 20 min.)
0.50 oz. Hallertauer (7.4% AA, 5 min.)
Yeast: dry lager yeast saflager s-23
