Off Camber Amber

Brewed as an after ride ale for the 2012 mountain biking season. It's guaranteed to set your crooked wheels straight.

22 HCU (~13 SRM)
Bitterness: 38 IBU
OG: 1.059 FG: 1.012
Alcohol: 6.1% v/v (4.8% w/w)
Water: 1 tbs 5.2 stabilizer, 1 tsp gypsum.
Grain: 6 lb. American 2-row
3 lb. American Munich
8 oz. American victory
2 lb. American crystal 40L
Mash: 80% efficiency
Single infusion, 153°F for 60 minutes (1.3 quarts per lb). Pull 1 gallon decoction, add to 1 gallon boiling water, bring to boil and reintroduce to mash to mash out at 165°F. Continuous sparge with 175°F water to collect 7.5 gallons in brewpot.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.043 7.5 gallons
Hops: 1 oz. Cascade (pellet) (5.9% AA, 60 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (leaf) (8.9% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Amarillo (leaf) (10.4% AA, 15 min.)
.5 oz. Cascade (leaf) (aroma)
.5 oz. Amarillo (leaf) (aroma)
