"Anchor with an Attitude"
Living in SF is an obvious advantage. The recipe started out pretty d@mn good. This is the 5th batch, dialing it in a bit each time.
This time - nailed it.

Beer: Steampunk Style: California Common
Type: Extract w/grain Size: 5 gallons
Color:
19 HCU (~11 SRM)
Bitterness: 31 IBU
OG: 1.056 FG: 1.014
Alcohol: 5.4% v/v (4.3% w/w)
Water: EBMUD Sobrante water plus
Chalk CaCO3 1.7 grams
Gypsum CaSO4 1.2 grams
Calcium Chloride CaCl2 2 grams
Epsom Salt MgSO4 1.5 grams

Ca+2 = 75, Mg+2 = 12, SO4-2 = 77, Na+ = 20, Cl- = 49
HCO3- = 128, Alkalinity= 105
Grain: 1 lb. American crystal 60L
.55 lb. Dextrine malt (Cara-foam)
Steep: Specialty grains milled and mashed at 155° for 60 minutes
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.053 5.25 gallons
6 lb. Light malt extract
1 lb. Corn sugar
1 tsp Irish moss last 10 minutes, gelatin fine.
Hops: 0.34 oz. magnum (14.1% AA, 60 min.)
1.3 oz. Northern Brewer (8.5% AA, 7 min.)
.8 oz. Northern Brewer (aroma)
Yeast: 10 ml WLP810 San Francisco Lager Yeast 2 c water + 1/2 c DME
3 days. I usually make a few batches with a WL tube this way.
Log: Ambient outside air 47-61 F. My garage - mid to upper 50s
Carbonation: 2.8 volumes Corn Sugar: 5.20 oz. for 5 gallons @ 68°F
