10 oz. American crystal 60L
6 oz. American chocolate
1 lb. Roasted barley
1 lb. Flaked oats
Mash: 80% efficiency
Single infusion mash, 157F for 60 minutes, sparge with 175F water to reach 7.5 gallons.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.036 7.5 gallons
3 oz. Lactose
1 oz. Cocoa
Add lactose and cocoa last 15 minutes of boil.
Hops: 1 oz. US Golding (4.9% AA, 60 min.)
Yeast: Safale US-05
Log: Add 16 oz cold brewed coffee and 1 tsp peppermint extract at kegging.
Carbonation: Keg and pressurize with 75% N, 25% CO2, serve thru stout faucet.
