American pale ale with decidedly German hopping

Bitterness: 30 IBU
OG: 1.070 FG: 1.008
Alcohol: 8.0% v/v (6.3% w/w)
Water: 1/2 tsp of Burton water salts
Grain: 1 lb. German Pilsner
1 lb. American crystal 20L
8 oz. malted torrified wheat
8 oz. Belgian biscuit
Steep: place grains in grain bag over medium heat holding at approx 130 degrees for 45-60 min.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.175 2 gallons
6 lb. Light dry malt extract
1 lb. Corn sugar
1 tsp irish moss
Hops: 1 oz. Magnum (13% AA, 60 min.)
2 oz. Mt. Hood (4.5% AA, 45 min.)
.5 oz. Hallertauer Hersbrucker (5% AA, 30 min.)
.5 oz. Hallertauer Hersbrucker (5% AA, 15 min.)
Yeast: White Labs American Ale yeast WLP001
