Grain: 250g British crystal 50-60L
20g Belgian chocolate
Steep: Grain bag. Steeped at 68°C for 30min.
Boil: 60 minutes SG 1.149 10 liters
1kg 700g Light malt extract
1kg Amber malt extract
2kg Wheat extract
Hops: 25g Hallertauer Hersbrucker (5% AA, 60 min.)
15g Saaz (3.75% AA, 60 min.)
10g Hallertauer Hersbrucker (5% AA, 30 min.)
10g Saaz (3.75% AA, 30 min.)
15g Hallertauer Hersbrucker (aroma)
Yeast: Yeast cultured from a bottle of Aventinus.
Log: fermentation: Primary 20°C - 5 days
Secondary 20°C - 7 days
Cold condition 10°C - 3 weeks
Carbonation: 3.7 volumes Keg: 24.6 psi @ 4°C
